How do I choose between SkinPen and a facial?

SkinPen may be appropriate for concerns such as facial acne scars or neck wrinkles, while our facials focus on cleansing, exfoliation, hydration, and personalized skincare. Your provider can review your goals and help determine which option is suitable for your skin.

How much does SkinPen microneedling cost at Drip IV?

SkinPen is $350 per session for the face and $425 for the face and neck. A series of three sessions qualifies for 10% off.

How long do facials take?

The Glow Facial is 30 minutes, the Signature Facial is 60 minutes, and the Age Rewind Luxury Facial is 75 minutes. Choose an option based on your skin goals and how much time you would like to spend on your appointment.

Is there downtime after SkinPen microneedling?

SkinPen® microneedling typically does not require downtime from work beyond the day of your appointment. Temporary redness, tightness, dryness, or peeling can still occur. Your provider will explain post-procedure skincare and when to resume your usual skincare products and activities.

Is SkinPen suitable for everyone?

No. Your provider will review your skin, medical history, medications, and recent treatments to assess whether SkinPen is appropriate. Share any active skin concerns, healing issues, or sensitivities before treatment.

SkinPen^® Microneedling

SkinPen^® uses fine needles to create controlled micro-injuries that support the skin's natural remodeling process. It is FDA-cleared to improve the appearance of facial acne scars in adults ages 22 and older and neck wrinkles in eligible patients.

If acne scars or neck wrinkles are your main concern, SkinPen^® may be an option. Your provider will assess your skin and medical history to determine whether treatment is appropriate for you.

Before treatment, your provider will review your goals, explain the procedure, and discuss preparation and aftercare. Topical numbing is commonly used to help reduce discomfort. During treatment, the device moves across the selected area of skin.

Temporary redness, tightness, dryness, and peeling can occur afterward. SkinPen® typically does not require downtime from work beyond the day of your appointment, but allow time for your skin to settle before an important event. Follow your provider's instructions for skincare, makeup, sun exposure, and returning to your usual activities.

Before your facial, share any skin sensitivities, current skincare products, and recent treatments with your provider. If you’re preparing for a special event, let the team know so they can help you plan the timing.

During your facial, your provider will perform the steps included in your selected service using ZO® skincare products. Depending on your facial, this may include deep cleansing, dermaplaning, targeted serums, or extended massage.

After your facial, follow your provider’s guidance on what to use at home and when to resume exfoliating products or other active skincare. Aftercare will depend on the products and techniques used during your appointment.
